So much to do, so little time...

As the title implies... we have been really busy with our little girl in our lives and we are enjoying every minute of it.

Kyra's first Christmas was a special time. Road trips to Oklahoma and Missouri went well, with Kyra sleeping most of the way! She had lots of fun seeing Grandpa Non and Grandma Pam in Longdale, where she got to open her first Christmas presents! We almost didn't make it though - do to a blizzard that hit Wichita the day we were supposed to head out of town. We also had a Christmas dinner at Uncle Virgil and Aunt Connie's which was a lot of fun. Kyra was not too sure about being the center of attention at times - but she will learn to love visiting family as we do! Our trip to the Ozarks was a fun and relaxing time. Kyra loved talking to her Great-Grandpa and Great-Grandma! She even got to do a web-cam with her Grandpa and Grandma Roths in Oregon. I can't wait until she is old enough to realize it is them smiling at her on the computer screen. :)

It is hard to believe that Kyra is FOUR MONTHS old already! She is growing so fast! She had a doctor's appointment on Tuesday and here are her stats:
Length: 23.5" (25th percentile)
Weight: 12 lb. 13 oz. (40th percentile)

She also received her 4 month shots. Kyra did really well though! She only cried for a few minutes, and was back to her happy self by later that afternoon (with the help of a little tylenol) :)

Another big change for our family is that Desirae is now a stay-at-home mom! Her last day at work was Thursday, January 31st. While she will miss the people and work she did for Airbus, she is definitely looking forward to being at home with Kyra and watching and helping her grow!
