Kyra is still amazing us all with how quickly she is learning to walk - and run! She now chooses to walk over crawling sometimes. She can't get to a standing position from a sitting position yet - she has to pull herself up with something first - but then she's off!!
She is also talking A LOT!! She can now say "dood" - meaning "good", "teef" - meaning "teeth" (she loves to brush her teeth...), "up" - very cute - with an emphasis on the "p" :), and "pa-pa" - for "paw-paw" or Grandpa Rolen. :) She tries to say down, which is just "duh" for now... and all this in addition to already saying, Momma, Daddy, hi, and eye! Eye is her favorite word - and everything on your face is "EYE". She knows better... if you ask her where your ear is she will point to the ear and say loudly, "EYE!!" but she also can point to your eye if you ask where it is. :) We laughed - so now she thinks it is a game to call "ears", "eyes". hehehe.
Her comprehension is also really good. If you ask her to pick up a toy, then put it in the box, she will clean up her toys by putting them in the toybox. Also, if you ask if she is ready to eat, she will walk or crawl towards the kitchen; if you ask if she is ready to go brush her teeth, she will walk/crawl towards the bathroom; if you ask if she is ready to go night-night, she will walk/crawl towards her bedroom.
It's hard to believe she will be turning one in just over a month!!
